The Bean-to-Bar Process

1. Sourcing Premium Cocoa Beans

2. Roasting for Flavor Enhancement
Roasting is a crucial step that develops the cocoa’s flavor. Too much heat can burn the beans, while too little may leave them underdeveloped. Careful roasting brings out the best in each variety.
3. Cracking and Winnowing
After roasting, the beans are cracked to separate the cocoa nibs from their shells. The nibs contain the essence of chocolate and are the foundation of the final product.
4. Grinding and Conching
